YOUTHS VERSES THE KENYAN ECONOMY.
Despite the fact that Kenya has the advantages of having many young people, we are at risk if the youths are not involved directly in the growth of the county's economy especially in the political world.
The youths needs to be considered when the government is implementing in the Government's agendas in facilitating investments in attaining food securities, building affordable houses and affordable health care the young people are also directly benefiting from them. Creating jobs through manufacturing will create demand for food and housing and once the young people start their families, they will automatically require healthcare that meets the needs of their households and those of their repentants on accounts of having disposable in comes.
Shifting from the historical socialisation of young people that their education will position the youth to get well paying jobs needs to be done. The youths needs to understand that the education they are getting now is preparing them create jobs through their creativity and having small startups where the government directly supports them. Another thing is that the youths should ve made to understand that their talents can also be benefiting to them be it music, acting and many more.
There should be greater energy between the national and county governments so that they collaborate in meeting the infrastructure and policies that will spur investments and open up the country for growth. Only in this way will we progressively create a country in which the young people, indeed all citizens, feel confident to live, work and invest in any part of the country.
The youths and the development or the Government's economy hence work hand in hand and the youths should be involved in the country's economy.
